main house Houses built directly on top of their bulkheads will never again be allowed but property like this offers an intimate "water experience". house from beach

A few years ago, a salmon was caught from the deck. Here, across from Harstine Island, you can eat the crab, clams and oysters. Clean water!

We spend our time watching boats and relaxing with friends. Wine, fresh homegrown salsa and bright pink salmon on the barbeque - good eating!

From the patio
I remain surprised how much difference fifty miles makes. The weather in the Northwest "convergence zone" just north of us is very different but we still have ocean access to the San Juan's and the Sunshine Coast. The protected waters of the South Sound offer great kayaking, sailing and canoeing and a ton of places to explore in a motor launch. So bring your boats. There lots to do.
